Mega-Sena Rolls Over to R$112 Million, With Odds Still Steep
Both accounts agree that the headline prize has grown after no one hit the six-number combination, while differing mainly in what they stress: one focuses on how to enter and the odds, and the other on the available betting channels and deadlines.
No bettor matched the six numbers in Mega-Sena contest 3068, held in São Paulo, sending the estimated jackpot for the next draw to R$112 million. The numbers drawn were 07, 10, 39, 40, 43 and 57.1
The Brazil Right account frames the rollover chiefly through the mechanics of the game: the jackpot had been projected at R$100 million, a standard six-number bet costs R$6, and the chance of winning with that entry is “one in 50,063,860.”1 It says bets can be placed at accredited lottery outlets or through Caixa’s official digital channels.
The Brazil Left account reports the same draw results and payout figures, but gives more attention to practical access. It notes that Mega-Sena draws are held three times a week and that bets can be made online through the Caixa lottery website and app, while digital pool bets have a later 8:30 p.m. cutoff.2 It also notes that online bettors must be at least 18.
Both reports underline that the rollover did not leave all participants empty-handed. Sixty-two tickets matched five numbers and will receive R$51,808.94 each, while 4,884 tickets matched four numbers for R$1,084.10 apiece.2
They also converge on the basic trade-off behind the larger headline prize: selecting more numbers improves the probability of winning but sharply raises the cost. The Brazil Left report says a 20-number entry costs R$232,560 and carries odds of one in 1,292, compared with the far lower-cost six-number option.2
